Singapore Airlines announced resumption of passenger flights from Kochi from November 30. From 30th NOV there will be 3 flight operations weekly on Tuesday,Thursday and Sunday. On these days the flight arrives Kochi at 2215 and departs at 2305.CIAL Managing Director S.Suhas IAS said that Hon.Chairman and the board of directors have taken proactive steps to re-establish air connectivity to Kochi from all international travel hubs. “We are extremely happy to have Singapore Airlines here after a 20-month long hiatus. With the resumption of flights from kochi, passengers can finally reunite with their friends and family in Singapore” : added Suhas. The passengers arriving from Singapore has to take RT PCR test at Kochi airport and undergo 7 days home quarantine. On 8th day of the arrival, they have to take one more test and continue quarantine for one more week if found positive.CIAL now handles 185 weekly departures to The Middle East The airport operator also facilitate flights UK, Sri Lanka and Male’ . CIAL hopes that by the end of the year the international flights operations at Kochi airport will be back to normal.
