Shri. K. Rajan
Shri. K. Rajan, Director, Cochin International Airport Limited, is the Minister for Land Revenue, Survey and Land Records, Land Reforms, Housing, Government of Kerala, representing Ollur constituency. He previously held the position of Government Chief Whip in the 14th Legislative Assembly and had an extensive involvement in various roles, including State Executive Member of the Communist Party of India, Secretary of AIYF, Vice Chairman of Calicut University Union, and Member of the State Youth Welfare Board. He completed his primary education at Anthikkad KGM LP School, pursued his high school education there as well, and obtained his graduation degree from Thrissur Kerala Varma College. He actively participated in student political activities affiliated with AISF. Furthermore, he graduated in Law from the Law Academy in Thiruvananthapuram before transitioning to full-time politics after initially practicing as a lawyer in Thrissur court. Throughout his political career, he played an active role in agitations organized by the CPI on various socially significant issues, such as the commercialization of education, electricity charge hike, increase in the pension age, SaveAthirappilly campaign, Solar case, Bar bribery case, among others. Collaborations with organizations like Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad, Balavedhi, Chadayammuri Smarakam, and K. G. Kelan Memorial Granthasala helped him establish strong connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
