Shri. M. A. Yusuff Ali

 Shri. M.A. Yusuff Ali, Director, Cochin International Airport Limited is the Chairman and Managing Director of LuLu Group International, which owns the LuLu Hypermarket chain and the LuLu International Shopping Mall throughout the world. He began his large business ventures in India by establishing the Lulu Convention Centre in his hometown of Thrissur, Kerala. LuLu Group International began as a family-owned and operated business. Shri. Yusuff Ali expanded the business after joining it to include the import and distribution of frozen products from Europe and the United States. The products were not only available in Abu Dhabi, but also the other Emirates. The company quickly expanded into both food and non-food categories. In 2005, he was honored with the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award by the esteemed former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Subsequently, in 2008, he was conferred with the Padma Shri Award by the then President of India, H.E. Smt. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil. These prestigious awards recognized his notable contributions. Apart from his role as the chairman of the company, Yusuff Ali also holds significant positions in various organizations. He serves as the vice-chairman of Norka Roots, an undertaking of the Kerala Government in addition to his position as a board member on the director board of Cochin and Kannur International Airport Limited.
