Shri. P. Rajeeve

 Shri. P. Rajeeve, Director, Cochin International Airport Limited is the Minister for Industries, Law and Coir,  Government of Kerala representing Kalamassery constituency.  He was a practicing lawyer at the High Court of Kerala before taking full-time political and organizational responsibilities. Shri. Rajeeve, a member of the CPI(M) Kerala State committee, served as a Rajya Sabha member from 2009 to 2015. Throughout his tenure in the upper house, he displayed remarkable activity and brought forth numerous important issues for discussion. His parliamentary performance received high acclaim from political opponents, including former finance minister Arun Jaitley, Congress leader Gulam Nabi Azad, BSP supremo Mayawati, and Rajya Sabha deputy chairman P.J Kurien. Rajeeve's exceptional contributions in Parliament were recognized with the Sansad Ratna Award in 2016. In the 2019 Indian general election, he contested from the Ernakulam Lok Sabha constituency. His book, "Bharanaghadana: Charithravum Samskaravum," published in 2020, received the Abu Dhabi Sakthi Award in the scholarly literature category. In the 2021 Kerala Legislative Assembly Elections, he successfully secured a seat and was subsequently included in the second Pinarayi Vijayan ministry, where he holds the portfolios of Industries, Law, and Coir as a minister.
