Tender for Operating Meet & Greet Services at CIAL

 

 

Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL), the first Greenfield airport in India under the public private partnership model is one of the fastest growing airports in India. CIAL having the 4th largest international passenger traffic in India had handled 10 million passenger movements in 2019-20 and post covid, handled 8.9 million passengers in 2022-23.  CIAL has been able to provide the best operational equipment, facilities and infrastructure to both airlines and passengers.

 

CIAL invites application for prequalification to Operate Meet & Greet Services in the International & Domestic Terminals. Space in prominent locations will be provided by CIAL in consultation with Operations department and the successful bidder must invest on helpdesk at their cost. The cloak room (Left luggage room) services shall also be undertaken by the successful bidder. The Meet & Greet desks shall be used to collect or return left luggage items.

 

The details of the proposed tender are as follows: -

 

 

Scope                             : To Operate Meet & Greet Services in the International & Domestic Terminals and provide Left Luggage (cloak) room services

 

EMD                               : Rs.5 Lakhs

 

Period of License          : 3 Years extendable by 2 years at the discretion of

                                     CIAL and subject to timely clearance of dues by the

                                        Licensee

 

Pre-qualification Criteria      

 

Agencies meeting the following criteria will be invited to make a presentation to CIAL: -

 

(a)    Any legal entity having minimum 02 (Two) years of experience in providing Meet & Greet Services at Indian Airports and having a turnover of not less than INR 3 crores in any one of the last 3 years from such Meet & Greet Services at Indian Airports.

 

(b)    Should have valid BCAS Clearance certificate.

 

(c)    Consortiums shall not be allowed to participate in this tender.

 

For the Purpose of this tender, Meet & Greet Services means seamless service from car door to boarding gate for departures and reverse for arrivals. This includes assistance at check- in counter, Immigration, Security check and boarding gates for departures and Arrival gate, Baggage belt assistance and service up to the vehicle for arrivals.

 

Agencies meeting the above criteria shall be invited to make a presentation to CIAL on their proposal to provide Meet & Greet services at CIAL. They may also suggest value added services which may be considered for inclusion in the contract. A Committee will evaluate the documents and presentation, based on which the agencies shall be shortlisted for issue of tender documents.

 

Document to be submitted   

 

Tender Documents will be issued only to Pre- Qualified bidders. Agencies are required to provide the following documents in order to be considered for the presentation.

 

                             i.        Brief profile of the bidder.

                           ii.        Copy of Certificate of Incorporation/Partnership deed/Trust deed

                          iii.        Copy of  GST registration

                          iv.        Copy of BCAS Clearance

                            v.        Certificate/s from Airport Operator/s certifying two years  for providing meet & Greet services with a turnover( from Meet & Greet services) of not less INR 3 crores in any one of the last 3 years. The certificate should clearly indicate the scope of service.
