Online item rate composite E-tenders are invited from reputed contractors for the work mentioned below at Cochin International Airport, Nedumbassery.
Name of Work : Construction of Commercial Zone at CIAL
SH: Civil & MEP works.
Estimated Cost : Rs 12800 lakhs (approximately)
Period of Completion : 24 Months.
Eligibility Criteria :
The applicant may be an individual, proprietorship firm, partnership firm, company or corporation who meets the requisite eligibility criteria prescribed as under. Joint venture companies and consortiums are not permitted. If the applicant is a limited company/corporation, the application shall be signed by a duly authorized person holding power of Attorney for signing the application accompanied by a copy of the power of Attorney. The applicant should also furnish a copy of the memorandum & Articles of Association duly attested by a public notary.
Bidders should possess
- Experience in executing similar works in any Public Undertakings, Public limited Companies, Government Controlled Companies, Public Private Partnership model Companies & Public sector undertakings.
- Valid PF & ESI registration
- Valid certificates of ISO-9001, ISO-14001
- In house BIM (Building Information modelling) capacity to produce shop drawings.
- Successfully executed at least two LEED rated projects.
- A. The bidder should have commenced and completed at least one similar work in single contract or as a part of composite contract valuing more than Rs 80 Crores during the last 07 years ending on 31.01.2024 Or
B. The bidder should have commenced and completed at least two similar works in single contract or as a part of composite contract valuing more than Rs 50 Crores during the last 07 years ending on 31.01.2024. Or
C. The bidder should have commenced and completed at least three similar works in single contract or as a part of composite contract valuing more than Rs 40 Crores during the last 07 years ending on 31.01.2024.
(Similar work means Construction of civil work for Multistoried building like 5star Hotels /Airport Terminals /office complexes/Malls/IT parks/ as a single contract. Attested copy of the client certificate for satisfactory completion of the work should be submitted. The certificate shall clearly indicate the components of the project, date of starting of work and the completion date of the work. In case the works are executed for Private Client, copy of the work order , list of major components of work with their value , TDS certificate for all payments received from and copy of final/last bill paid by the client shall be submitted. No documents other than above mentioned could be considered as documentary proof for work experience. Value of contract means the cost of work only. Cost of Land is not considered.
For Architectural façade works, the bidder should possess adequate experience in house or associate with an architectural façade specialist who should be experienced in façade works of not less than Rs 10 Crores during the last 07 years ending on 31.01.2024. The bidder should submit full particulars of experience certificate if they have in house experience or that of at least one such associates as per the enclosed Annexure IV (Schedule D1) and their consent letter along with this application.
For MEP works, the bidder should possess adequate experience in house or associate with an experienced firm having following qualifications. The bidder should submit full particulars of prequalification document as detailed below if they have in house experience or that of at least two such associates as per the enclosed Annexure IV (Schedule D) and their consent letter along with this application. .
- The MEP contractor/associate should have Valid ‘A’ grade electrical contract license issued by CEIG, Kerala or should associate an electrical contractor having the above license.
- Should have satisfactorily completed Electro Mechanical & plumbing works of 5 Star Hotels/Airport Terminals/ Office complexes/Malls/IT parks , at least one work of value not less than Rs. 22 Crores or two works, of value not less than Rs. 14 Crores each during the last seven years ending on 31.01.2024. For this,Client’s certificate stating details of the value of work, date of start, quantity of system/sub-system, date of completion as per agreement, actual date of completion and satisfactory completion should be submitted.
- Should have annual work contract receipts of value not less than of Rs. 45 Crores during any one of the last seven financial years ending 31.03.2023. As a proof, copy of audited balanced sheet and profit and loss account of the firm shall be submitted along with the application.
7.Annual work contract receipts to the tune of Rs. 150 Crores, during any one of the five preceding years ending on 31.03.2023. (Audited financial statement for the last 07 years, 2016-2017,2017-2018, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22,2022-23 should be produced).
8. Solvency Certificate from bank of value not less than Rs.23 Crores certified by bankers.
Solvency certificate should not be older than 01 year from the date of submission of prequalification document.
9. Net Worth: Net Worth of bidders during last audited financial year should be >= Rs 65 Crores
The documents submitted without above documentary evidences will not be considered/evaluated. CIAL will have the right to verify the work experience certificate/bank statements as required
Earnest Money Deposit : Rs 128 Lakhs ( Rs 20 lakhs online payment and balance Rs 108 Lakhs as Bank Guarantee)
Period of download of Tender document : 15.03.2024 to 12.04.2024 Till 1400Hrs
Last date of submission of Tender Queries : 25.03.2024 upto 1500 Hrs
Date of Prebid meeting : 02.04.2024 at 1100 hrs
Date of submission of Tender : 22.04.2024 upto 1500 Hrs
Date of Technical bid opening : 24.04.2024 at 1100 Hrs
Date of opening of Price bid : shall be informed
Interested agencies may submit all the attested copies of above supporting documents mentioned in eligibility criteria .The agencies should submit the duly filled Annexures (I to IX ) attached with this detailed tender notice along with the prequalification document.
Tenders of only those contractors who are deemed to be qualified after scrutiny of their eligibility documents shall be evaluated. Cochin International Airport Ltd reserves the right to change the qualifying criteria at their discretion and to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof. The tenders not accompanied by EMD shall be summarily rejected.
