Sealed item rate tenders are invited from the reputed OEMs or their authorized channel partners for the work mentioned below at Cochin International Airport, Nedumbassery, Kerala, India.
Name of work : Revamping of Terminal 3 Aerobridge canopy at Apron-2 of CIAL.
Estimated Cost : Rs. 200 lakhs (approximately)
Period of Completion : 8 Months
Eligibility criteria
The bidder:
- Shall have executed satisfactorily at least one work related to Revamping/Refurbishment/Upgradation work of Aerobridge at any airport in India or abroad in single work order/ contract for a value not less than Rs 160 lakhs during any of the previous ten (10) years ending on 31/03/25. For this, the satisfactory Completion Certificate issued by the client is to be submitted. The certificate shall indicate scope of work, date of starting of the work and the completion date of the work. The work should be 100 % completed during the said period of the project.

Shall have executed satisfactorily least two works related to Revamping/Refurbishment/Upgradation work of Aerobridge at any airport in India or abroad in two work orders/contracts for a value not less than Rs 100 lakhs each during any of the previous ten (10) years ending on 31/03/25. For this, the satisfactory Completion Certificate issued by the client is to be submitted. The certificate shall indicate the scope of work, date of starting the work and the completion date of the work. The work should be 100 % completed during the said period of the project.
- If an authorized channel partner is participating in the tender with the credentials of the OEM, an authorization from the OEM to participate in the tender must be submitted. In such cases, an OEM can authorize only one channel partner for participating in this tender.
- If the OEM is a foreign company, they should have a service center in India or an authorized service partner in India to provide all technical support, including all capabilities for carrying out installation works and maintenance contract to be executed in future. For this, the agreement between OEM and the service partner or an undertaking from the OEM that all the service requirements for the Aerobridge Canopy units will be done through the respective service partner, must be submitted.
- Valid PF registration for the execution company. (Copy of the registration certificate is to be submitted).
- Valid ESI registration for the execution company. (Copy of the registration certificate is to be submitted).
Note-1: If an Indian Company cites the experience credentials etc. of its Foreign Principals, the same shall be allowed subject to their furnishing documentary evidence to prove that the Indian Company is indeed a subsidiary or branch of a Foreign Company.
Earnest Money Deposit : Rs 4,00,000/-
(Shall be submitted in the form of Demand Draft on any Nationalised/Scheduled bank payable at Ernakulam/Nedumbassery drawn in favour of Cochin International Airport Limited.)
Cost of Tender Documents : Rs 2,500/- + GST or Rs. 3,000/- plus GST, if required by post(Can be remitted in the form of Demand Draft/NEFT drawn in favour of Cochin International Airport Limited, payable at Ernakulam /Nedumbassery.)
Date of Submission of Application forms for pre-qualification : 25-03-2026 before 4.30 PM
Period of Sale of Tenders : From 06-04-2026 to 10-04-2026 between 10.00 AM to 4.30 PM

Interested firms shall have to submit their application forms for prequalification along with necessary supporting documents mentioned in the eligibility criteria to the office of the Managing Director, Cochin International Airport Ltd., Kochi Airport P O, pin: 683 111, on or before the date mentioned above for the pre-qualification for issuing the tender document.
Tender forms shall be issued to those agencies which are found eligible after the scrutiny of their application.
CIAL reserves the right to change the qualifying criteria at its discretion and to accept or reject the tenders without assigning any reason thereof. The tenders which are not accompanied by the EMD shall be summarily rejected.
