Item rate E-tenders are invited from reputed Indian civil contractors possessing Civil ‘A’ Class & above registration in CPWD/State PWDs/ MES/Railways or have a valid empanelment for civil works with any Public Sector Undertakings/Govt Agencies for a value equal to or higher than the PAC (Probable Amount of Contract) for the work mentioned below at Cochin International Airport, Nedumbassery.
Name of Work : Setting up of additional Facility for CIAL Trade Fair& Exhibition Centre - Phase II
PAC (Probable Amount of Contract) : Rs 478 lakhs (approximately)
Earnest Money Deposit : Rs. 9,00,000/- (through online payment).
Period of Completion : 6 Months.
Eligibility Criteria :
The applicant may be an individual, proprietorship firm, partnership firm, company or corporation who meets the requisite eligibility criteria prescribed as under. Joint venture companies and consortiums are not permitted. If the applicant is a limited company/corporation, the application shall be signed by a duly authorized person holding power of Attorney for signing the application accompanied by a copy of the power of Attorney. The applicant should also furnish a copy of the Memorandum & Articles of Association duly attested by a public notary.
Bidders should possess
- Valid Civil ‘A’ Class & above registration in CPWD/State PWDs/MES/Railways or have a valid empanelment for civil works with any Public Sector Undertakings/Govt Agencies for a value equal to or higher than the PAC (Probable Amount of Contract) for this work.
- Valid PF & ESI registration
- A. The bidder should have commenced and completed at least one similar work in single contract or as a part of composite contract valuing more than Rs 380 Lakhs during the last 07 years ending on 31.07.2024 Or
B. The bidder should have commenced and completed at least two similar works in single contract or as a part of composite contract valuing more than Rs 240 lakhs during the last 07 years ending on 31.07.2024. Or
C. The bidder should have commenced and completed at least three similar works in single contract or as a part of composite contract valuing more than Rs 190 Lakhs during the last 07 years ending on 31.07.2024.
(Similar work means Civil works for buildings.)
Value of contract means the cost of construction only. Cost of Land is not considered. Attested copy of the client certificate for satisfactory completion of the work should be submitted. The client certificate shall clearly indicate the components of the project, executed value without GST, date of starting of work and the completion date of the work. In case the works are executed for private client, copy of the work order, list of major components of work, executed value without GST, TDS certificate for all payments received from and copy of final/last bill paid by the client shall be submitted. No other documents other than above mentioned could be considered as documentary proof for work experience.
4. Annual work contract receipts to the tune of Rs. 700 Lakhs during any one of the seven preceding years ending on 31.03.2023. (Audited financial statement for the last 07 years, 2015-2016, 2016-2017,2017-2018, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23 should be produced. Tenderers shall submit Unique Document Identification Number (UDIN) generated documents as proof of all financial statements as per NIT conditions duly certified by a Chartered Accountant. The documents submitted by bidders without UDIN shall not be entertained)

Interested agencies may submit their bids along with the attested copies of supporting documents mentioned in eligibility criteria in the E-tendering portal. The agencies should submit the duly filled Annexures (I to VIII) attached with this detailed tender notice along with the prequalification documents in the E-tendering portal.
Tenders of only those contractors who are deemed to be qualified after the scrutiny of their eligibility documents shall be evaluated. Cochin International Airport Ltd reserves the right to change the qualifying criteria at their discretion and to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
