TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited from experienced agencies on behalf of Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) for Supply, Testing, Commissioning and Handing over of moss/algae removal machine to remove the moss/algae on the surface of runway, taxiway & Apron at Cochin international airport.
Name of work: Supply, Testing, Commissioning and Handing over of moss/algae removal machine at Cochin international airport Limited.
Estimated Cost: Rs 500 Lakhs. (approximately)
Period of Completion: 10 months.
PRE-QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
-
- The tenderer should have at least 05 years of experience in manufacturing Moss/ Algae Removal Machine. A Single purchase order copy/Reference list as evidence confirming that the company is manufacturing similar equipment from the past 05 years shall be submitted as on Jun 2024.

- The tenderer should have supplied a minimum of 04 Nos. of Moss/ Algae Removal Machine to a minimum of three distinct international airports or reputable organizations worldwide in the immediate last three years. Purchase order copies as substantiating evidence and satisfactory performance certificate (minimum one-year usage) from two respective end users is required and should adhere to the specified format.

- The tenderer should have an annual turnover of Rs 10 Crores in the last three financial years. The audited financial statement for the preceding three years showing the company's turnover shall be submitted as proof of Tenderer's financial performance.

- The tenderer shall provide a satisfactory report from CIAL if they have previously supplied goods or items to CIAL. The report should include details of the previous supply, including the nature of the goods/items, quantity supplied, delivery dates, and any relevant performance information.

- The bidder should not have been blacklisted either by the CIAL or any of the reputed organizations.
Self-declaration by the bidder to be submitted.

- If a dealer is participating in the tender, it is mandatory to provide an undertaking form from the original equipment manufacturer as confirmation of their affiliation. The tenderer must hold the status of an authorized dealer for a reputed and established original equipment manufacturer (OEM), which meets the stipulated experience criteria. The responsibility for resolving any disputes shall rest with either the parent organization or the original equipment manufacturer. Not more than one authorized dealer is allowed to participate in the tender.
Note: -
- All pre-qualification criteria should be met by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) itself and not through any partner, joint venture, principal, subsidiary etc.
- Not more than one tender shall be submitted by a Contractor or by firm of Contractors.
- No two or more concerns in which an individual is interested as proprietor and/or partner shall tender for the execution of the same works. If they do so all such tenders shall be liable to be rejected.

Interested agencies shall have to submit their application forms along with necessary prequalification documents mentioned in the eligibility criteria in the office of the Managing Director, Cochin International Airport Ltd., Kochi Airport P O, pin: 683 111, on or before the date mentioned above.
Tender forms shall be issued to those agencies which are found eligible after the scrutiny of their application and the receipt of tender fee. CIAL reserves the right to change the qualifying criteria at their discretion and to accept or reject the tenders without assigning any reason thereof. The tenders which are not accompanied by the EMD shall be summarily rejected.
