TENDER NOTICE
Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) invites sealed Tenders for maintenance of Fire Extinguishers which includes inspection, periodical maintenance, pasting of fire extinguisher maintenance labels on extinguishers, installation, replacement of defective parts, annual testing, refilling of all types of fire extinguishers, Hydraulic pressure testing, documentation including maintenance of registers for all types of fire extinguishers installed at various locations/buildings of Cochin International Airport (CIAL) including outstations.

Number of Extinguishers: Approximately 2500 Nos (Various Types)
Contract Period: Two (02) Years
PRE-QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
- The tenderer should have valid PF and ESI Registration. If it is not available at present, it should be taken within 90 days from the date of award of contract for which a declaration in the letter head of Tenderer should be submitted along with the application for pre-qualification. If it is not complied with 90 days from the date of award of contract, the AMC contract will be terminated and security deposit & monthly bill amount will be forfeited. No payment will be released without submission of the documents pertaining to the PF & ESI remittance on behalf of the employees who are deputed at CIAL for the AMC work.
- The tenderer should have at least two (02) year’s experience in maintenance of fire extinguishers in large organizations preferably in State/Central Government Organization or subsidiary/Public Sectors/semi-Government organizations, Multi-National Companies etc. The tenderer should submit a certificate of experience issued by the firm(s) in which they have worked.
- The tenderer should have executed a work order for maintaining a minimum of three hundred (300) Nos. of fire extinguishers per year in a single contract. The tenderer should submit along with his tender, the satisfactory completion certificates from clients regarding his experience in maintaining extinguishers and such certificate should clearly indicate the number of extinguishers he has maintained in each firm.

Interested agencies shall have to submit their application forms along with necessary prequalification documents mentioned in the eligibility criteria in the office of the Managing Director, Cochin International Airport Ltd, Kochi Airport P O, Pin-683111, on or before the date mentioned above.
Tender forms shall be issued to those agencies which are found eligible after the scrutiny of their application and receipt of tender fee. CIAL reserves the right to change the qualifying criteria at their discretion and to accept or reject the tenders without assigning any reason thereof. The tenders which are not accompanied by the EMD shall be summarily rejected.
