Sealed item rate tenders are invited from experienced civil contractors for the work detailed as below at Cochin International Airport.

Eligibility criteria for pre-qualification:

  1. Valid Civil ‘A’ Class & above registration in CPWD/State PWDs/MES/Railways or have a valid empanelment for civil works with any Public Sector Undertakings/Govt Agencies for a value equal to or higher than the estimate cost for this work.

2.  Valid PF registration certificate.

3.  Shall have satisfactorily executed at least:

  1. One civil work valuing more than Rs.70 lakhs in single contract during any of the last 05years ending on 31.10.2024.
  2. Two civil works valuing more than Rs.42 lakhs in single contract during any of the last 05years ending on 31.10.2024.

        (A satisfactory completion certificate from the client shall be produced for the work. The certificate shall clearly indicate the components of the project, date of start of work and the completion date of the work. In case the work is executed for Private Clients, copy of the work order, list of major components of work with their value, TDS certificate for all payments received from and copy of final/last bill paid by the client shall be submitted. No documents other than the above-mentioned could be considered as documentary proof for work experience.)

4.  Annual contract receipts to the tune of Rs.130 lakhs during any one of the 05 preceding years ending on 31.03.2024 (audited balance sheets showing turnover, profit and loss account of the firm with UDIN shall be submitted).

Interested agencies may submit the application on their letterhead, enclosing the self-attested copies of supporting documents mentioned in the eligibility criteria for prequalification to the office of the Managing Director, Cochin International Airport Ltd., Kochi Airport (PO), 683111 on or before 22/11/2024.

Tenders shall be issued only to those contractors who are found eligible after scrutiny of their applications. The cost of tender documents can be remitted in the form of Cash or Demand Draft in favour of CIAL payable at Ernakulam. The tenders not accompanied by EMD shall be summarily rejected.

CIAL reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
