Sabarimala Pilgrim Facilitation Centre and Digital Information Centre opened at Cochin Airport


CIAL inaugurated the Sabarimala Pilgrim Facilitation and Travancore Devaswom Board’s Digital Information Centre at domesLocated in the domestic terminal (T-1) arrivals area, the centres operate 24/7, offering essential services for pilgrims. Pilgrims can digitally book Appam and Aravana prasadam, facilitated through a partnership with South Indian Bank (SIB). Bookings are redeemable at the SIB counter near Sabarimala’s Malikappuram Nada. Donations can also be made via QR code or digital card. Additionally, an 'e-kanika' facility is available for making offerings. A dedicated layover area provides resting facilities, flight information displays, and prepaid taxi services. Pilgrims can access affordable accommodation at the 0484 Aero Lounge, reservable by calling 0484-3053484 or emailing [email protected]
The Sabarimala Pilgrim Facilitation Centre,, inaugurated by Minister Shri. P. Rajeeve, spans 5,000 square feet and includes a help desk, food counters, and additional traveler services. During the previous season, around 6,000 pilgrims used this facility. A KSRTC special bus service to Pamba departs daily at 8 pm from CIAL, arriving at 2:30 am. Tickets are available online or via the Ente KSRTC Neo-oprs app. Chartered buses for groups exceeding 30 passengers are also available.
